Summer is fast approaching and with that comes Bible Camps, VBS, Kids Clubs, and all the normal routine stuff. This year we find ourselves in the position of directing camp for the first time. We could use all the prayers we can get. We are eager yet timid about this new step. We know that when we place ourselves in the hands of God, he can do lots.

What a blessing the last two months have been. Just to see God work in ways that we do not imagine or think of. He has opened the doors all the way and we are ready to do our best.

Pray for us as we work with our staff and finish all of our planing.

We will hold a back to school fishing camp this year. It is a great time to challange the youth one more time to live a strong life for Christ.

Camp Update

Dear Friends and Family,

We have officially been accepted as the new missionaries for Victory Heights Bible Camp. We are currently working on the camp schedule and are preparing a flyer to be mailed out. So you can be looking to get your flyer soon. We have added a Back to School fishing camp this year. There are many youth interested in fishing and it is a great way to finish out the summer.

How can you help us right now?
1. We need you to pray with us that we will get the things done before camp, that need to be done. That we would have a safe camping season, and that the children attending, would be challenged to grow, love, and serve God more.

We are looking for staff members, so if you would like the opportunity to spend a week with children and have fun, let us know.

May God bless all of you this season.

Psalm 46.10 "Be still and know that I am God" how amazing God works. We have been very busy with some ministry stuff, and it is great to see how God brings people in to help us out. I am so greatful for Robert and the work he is doing for Awana. It does take a load of stress off of my shoulders having help this year. We have been presented with yet another curve ball, as the other churches in Gering are not doing Awana this year. I pray that God will work everything out.

We have been waiting on some things as far as getting to the mission field, but as of today we are to put forth every effort in raising our support so that we can be on the field. We need to have some support coming in so that I can take more time off of work and do more ministry stuff. It looks like we will be getting camp set up and running this year.

God is so faithful to us and he answers prayer. Not always on our time table and in moments like those all we can do is lean on God and remember that he is in control. I have been doing some preaching and it has been great to get the experience, we have been going to two Bible study's one on Monday and the other on Tuesday. Wednesday's are filled up with Awana again.

Hope that all of you are doing well and keeping busy with God.

Devil kicked Out

Last week brought 32 7-12 year old boys and girls to camp. They are always so energized and on the go. It's amazing to see them as they settle down to learn about Jesus and His love, and come together to worship God. It is so fun to watch them grow in their spiritual life. It was a week of many challenges and the Devil thought that he could win at camp this week.

God was at work so much in the lives of the campers and was challenging their lives. The campers learned who Jesus was and who they are in Jesus. The campers were really interested in talking about some of the things they heard and learned in the evening services. It was a great chance to explain the gospel to them.

Pray for those that are seeking but not yet sure. The seeds of the scripture were planted, pray that they will bloom.

It is so great to be able to be at camp and to invest time into the lives of those God brings to us. We are working on next year and ask that you would pray with us as we get things lined up. The camp board will be meeting in August and will let us know if we are accepted to the field. Pray with us that the will of the Lord will be done. We are so eagerly awaiting the verdict.

In Christ,

Brandon, Sarah and Andrew

Friends,

Sarah and I had the opportunity to spend a week at Camp Victory Heights. This was the first camp of the summer and it was great. The Lord blessed us with 20 teen campers from all walks and backgrounds of life.

The first couple of days were rough as the teens settled in. There was a lot of things that they needed to work on.

The speakers did a great job in challenging the teens to live lives of radical Christians. This meant cleaning up their lives and following God's leading. Many accepted the challenge and rededicated their lives to Christ. There was also a new convert this week.

Things to pray for:
1. The teens and their walk with the Lord.
2. The staff and that the right follow ups would be done.
3. The next week of camp coming up.

We praise all of you that have been praying with us and supporting us, may God continue to bless you and keep watch over you. Pray with Sarah and I that we would be able to raise the funds that are needed to get to the field soon as full time staff.

God bless,

Brandon, Sarah, and Andrew

New Study

Friends,

We will be offering a new marriage study through our church. We will be going through the Bible looking at all the passages that deal with the topic of marriage. We are also going to be using the Love and Respect material, as homework and class discussion.

Also the Heart of One Ministry lake day and camp out has been moved to July 17 and 18 due to schedualing. We will be out of town at camp a couple of weeks.

Thank you for your time, and may God bless you all.

Dear Friends,

This summer we have been accepted as AMF missionaries. What a privilege and Honor it is. Now comes that dreaded time of deputation that we hear so much about.

This summer we are also in a ministry through our church working with the young married and collage aged people. We get together for a time of fellowship and fun. We have had a good turn out this summer. This month we will be having a lake camp out night and day.

We will be working at Camp Victory Heights this summer as missionaries and will be teaching one of the Bible classes that they have going on.

Please be praying for us as we seek the Lord's direction for our life from here, and that we would meet the financial needs that we will have.

Thank you all,

Brandon, Sarah, and Andrew
